I am NOT the Most Important Character in My Own Spiritual Story
A Chapel Talk and an Attempt to Connect with Spiritual Struggle
This is a talk on my struggles to accept myself and the ONE thing I seem to always forget.
Bushnell University in Eugene, OR, invited me to help them launch a Reading Buddy service project in local grade schools to help hurting kids. I was asked to speak at chapel about my faith and later, throughout that day, we hosted initiatives about Literacy and Service.
Here is my chapel talk. It just touches on illiteracy and then it is mostly about my spiritual journey and what I so often forget.
Just before I climb on stage, the trailer for our documentary SENTENCED was just shown, that will help explain my introduction.
I hope this spoke to you.
Much love, -tony
Great talk Tony, as usual so natural, so vulnerable, such an appropriate message for the audience. Well done
Tony, I’m sure many kids in that room will remember for a long time not only the details of what you shared but the point you so creatively made.
